Together with the donkeys we will leave from the “Happy Donkeys” farm to the “San Giorgio” monastery. The scenic route will entice us to take lots of photos or simply to look at the open spaces in front of us. We will visit the monastery, stop for lunch and a well deserved rest. We will continue through a shady forest until we reach the Mechit refuge, where we will stay overnight. Those who wish can spend the night in a tent to be even closer to the stars.

After breakfast, we will descend with the donkeys in the direction of Govedartsi. The all downhill route is easy and pleasant. For lunch we will stop at a local farm near Govedartsi, where we will try their cheeses, honey and other delicacies. We will then continue along the Iskar River to return to Happy Donkeys’ farm in Madjare. The bravest can bathe in the icy waters of the river.
